Ford Transit Custom Sync3 Reversing Reverse Camera Kit (2018 Onwards) Brake Light. This is our Reversing Camera Kit for the Ford Transit Custom from 2018 Onwards. To check if you have Sync3 onscreen press Settings-General-About and the software page will be displayed. Sync3 will say Sync3 and a software version (the version is irrelevant). If you only see a software page with software beginning with the letter F or R then you have the newer Sync2.5 that this kit will NOT Fit! (Please see our other listing for the Sync 2.5 kit) This Plug and Play Kit comes with a T harness loom that plugs into the Sync unit fitted behind the glovebox. The Kit comes supplied with our replacement LED Brake Light Camera for the Left Rear Door. Simply plug the programmer into the vans OBD port under the drivers side of the dashboard and it will automatically code the Sync unit to activate the rear camera. This will then display the camera menu in the settings screen giving you the option of only having the camera in reverse gear or having a delay option, which will keep the camera image on the display until the van reaches 15 mph.
