You can cut the plugs off at the camera at this point (same as picture attached) but leave the white power and gold video connector with as much cable as these need to be sent to me to re use. You can cut the original wiring in half and retain the rubber grommet (place back in the hole of tailgate) cutting the camera cable in half saves threading the grommet through the tiny hole.
