2013 HONDA CIVIC SEDAN. 2013 HONDA CIVIC COUPE. 2012 HONDA CIVIC SEDAN. 2012 HONDA CIVIC COUPE. ALL HARNESSING AND CONNECTIONS NEEDED ARE SUPPLIED IN THIS KIT. PRODUCT DOES NOT APPLY TO VEHICLES TRIMMED WITH FACTORY NAVIGATION SYSTEM. INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS ARE BELOW. Drill hole utilizing provided holesaw. Be sure to pre-inspect area prior to drilling for proper clearance and safe mounting. Feed camera wires thru hole and follow path of original harnessing making your way to the factory screen location. Power and ground for camera. Power and ground for camera can be located and utilized from the rear tail light assembly. At the reverse light, locate the BROWN wire and connect red camera 12 volt wire. Locate a clean, paint free metal chassis spot and connect camera ground wire. Tap on an extra wire from the brown reverse wire at the taillight, long enough to run along with the camera video wire. This will be needed to connect to the screen as well as the video rca for picture. Run cables (both extra power wire and video rca) from camera to the rear of the screen in the dash. Be sure to avoid any pinch points or potential areas that can damage the camera wires. Connect the extra power wire from the taillight to the power wire coming off of the provided screen harness (this will tell the monitor when to show camera everytime the vehicle is in reverse). Connect the video rca to the provided harness rca input. This will provide the video signal to the screen provided that power, ground and video for the camera have been connected properly. Test your camera system. Make sure u have sufficient battery power before testing. Camera should activate and display on original screen while in reverse. 2016 Honda Civic ex

2016 Honda Civic EX with automatic transmission and 31,000 miles. Some of the vehicle options include A/C, power windows, power locks, sunroof, keyless entry, factory remote start, rearview camera, sideview camera, new tires, etc. Vehicle has passed the PA safety and emission inspection and has current inspection stickers on the vehicle. Everything works on the vehicle as it should, with no problems or lights on in the dash to speak of. The vehicle sustained water onto the carpeting and mats, that is the reason for the rebuilt title. At no point did any water get as high as the center console. All electrical and mechanical parts are the original pieces. The Air bag computer that sits on the floor inside of the center console is the original computer to give an idea of how high the water was. All seats were removed, as well as mats and carpeting, items were professionally cleaned, dried, and reinstalled. There is no smell in the car. A 25 yr certified Honda mechanic has completely gone over the car, in addition to the state inspection, and has given the car a clean bill of health. Feel confident driving the car anywhere, because it performs and handles flawlessly. The only mechanical piece that was replaced was the A/C condenser. This had nothing to do with the water. This is a common problem on the newer civics and the tech noticed a slight leak. A new condenser was installed in the car by the tech, and r1234yf coolant was filled by the Honda dealer to the factory specs and performs flawlessly. If you look at another equivalent civic and this upgrade has not been done to the vehicle, plan on it having to be done. Drill hole utilizing provided holesaw. Be sure to pre-inspect area prior to drilling for proper clearance and safe mounting. Feed camera wires thru hole and follow path of original harnessing making your way to the factory screen location. Power and ground for camera. Power and ground for camera can be located and utilized from the rear tail light assembly. At the reverse light, locate the BROWN wire and connect red camera 12 volt wire. Locate a clean, paint free metal chassis spot and connect camera ground wire. Tap on an extra wire from the brown reverse wire at the taillight, long enough to run along with the camera video wire. This will be needed to connect to the screen as well as the video rca for picture. Run cables (both extra power wire and video rca) from camera to the rear of the screen in the dash. Be sure to avoid any pinch points or potential areas that can damage the camera wires. Connect the extra power wire from the taillight to the power wire coming off of the provided screen harness (this will tell the monitor when to show camera everytime the vehicle is in reverse). Connect the video rca to the provided harness rca input. This will provide the video signal to the screen provided that power, ground and video for the camera have been connected properly. Test your camera system. Make sure u have sufficient battery power before testing. Camera should activate and display on original screen while in reverse.
