Ford Focus Mk4 Sync3.2, 3.3, 3.4 – Reversing Reverse Camera Kit (2018 onwards). This is our Reversing Camera Kit for the Mk4 Ford Focus from 2018 onwards. The kit is compatible with sync software versions 3.2, 3.3 and 3.4. To confirm what software version you have turn the car on and on the screen press Settings-General-About to get the sync software version page. If you have a software version beginning with either R5.6 or F1.1 then this kit will not fit as you have Sync2.5 (For Sync2.5 see our other Focus listing). This plug & play kit comes with a T harness loom that will plug into the Sync unit above the audio unit located behind the climate controls. Please note: it is not the easiest of installations – so we recommend professional installation. Our low voltage NTSC camera supplied with the kit will replace your existing tailgate handle – which will look like it was a factory fitted option. Once fitted simply plug the supplied programmer into the cars OBD port under the drivers side of the dashboard and it will automatically code the Sync unit to activate the rear camera. This will display the camera menu in the settings screen – giving you the option of only having the camera in reverse gear or having a delay option, which will keep the camera image onscreen until the car reaches 15 mph. The kit will not provide moving guidelines but if factory parking sensors are installed then they will show on the top right corner of the screen.
